About Princess Fiona

Princess Fiona is Shrek’s love from the first movie. Shrek was created in 2001 as a computer animation film by Pixar. Shrek was done by Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz was Princess Fiona. In the first film Shrek had to rescue Princess Fiona from a fire breathing dragon. At first she seemed like a normal princess, but after dark she is cursed to turn into an ogre. Shrek is also an ogre making the union a happy one at the end. Shrek II and III were also created to tell the story of Princess Fiona and Shrek’s life after the rescue and marriage. In the second film they are almost human, but the choice was made to remain ogres at the end.

Dressing up as Princess Fiona

There are two costumes for Princess Fiona. You have her ogre body and then her human side. You can elect to be human and choose a Renaissance costume with tiara. You can also be the Ogre side with an ogre mask and body to go with the Renaissance outfit. There is also a need for a red wig to make the long braid that Princess Fiona has. Other characters you might wish to chose from would be Princess Aurora, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Snow White or any of the characters from the Shrek film.
