Princess Cinderella wasn't always a princess. Based on the classic French fairy tale by Charles Perrault, Cinderella was made into an animated Disney film, enchanting young girls with the tale of a simple servant girl whose kindness -- and a Fairy Godmother -- allow her to become a princess. Forced into doing the household chores that her lazy Wicked Stepmother and Step Sisters refuse to do after her father passes away, Cinderella is denied being able to go to Prince Charming's ball. As her stepsisters and Stepmother flit away, Cinderella's Fairy Godmother appears and dresses her beautifully to go to the ball. After dancing with the prince and falling in love, she accidentally leaves her glass slipper behind when she makes her exit at the stroke of midnight. After a lengthy search, the prince finds that she fits the glass slipper. The two marry and live "happily ever after."

Dressing up as Princess Cinderella
