About Belle

Belle from Beauty and the Beast is the main character who falls in love with the Beast. In fact she is the savior of the Beast. Belle was created by Disney for the animated film and has since been in two other Disney films. According to Disney Belle is a princess, though she is not really a princess in the story line. Belle was first voiced by Paige O’Hara and others such as Jodi Benson and Susan Egan have also supplied their talents to the role. In the film Princess Belle trades herself for her father. At first she cannot understand why the Beast is so cruel, but then he begins to soften, and eventually lets her go to help rescue her father. In the end they live happily ever after.
