About Police

The job of police has been around longer than you might imagine. The first “police” were called prefects in ancient China. They were the people who had the authority, though limited, to keep order within the dynasty. They even oversaw civil administration in their duties. Today Police are in most countries in some form. They can be traffic cops, detectives, lieutenants, even chiefs or sheriffs. Whatever their title may be their job is relatively the same. They must protect the citizens of the town, city, or state they work for. This means stopping illegal activities or risky maneuvers.

Dressing up as Police

Police have specific uniforms they wear. When you want to be a cop for a costume party you might consider the traditional costume. This costume is blue pants, blue shirt, with a belt, badge, and nameplate. Then the costume is finished with a hat. You also have other choices in costumes such as the sexy officer. This costume offered for females and is a short skirt, tight shirt, with protection paraphernalia like a whip and cuffs. Other costume choices can be sheriff, officer, or even an army ranger. The police costumes will fit most adults, and there are a few kids sizes available.
