About Plo Koon

A member of the Jedi Council and a star fighter pilot in his own right, Plo Koon was a General during the Clone Wars. A minor character in the new Star Wars trilogy, Plo Koon is of an alien race, the Kel Dor, and wears a breathing apparatus to help him adjust to the atmospheres of such worlds as Naboo and Tattooine that are more hospitable for humanoid types in the galaxy than his native people.
