About Pink Ladies

In the 1978 movie-musical Grease, greaser Danny Zuko meets good girl Sandy Olsen during a 1959 summer vacation and returns to his school, Rydell High, neither one knowing that she has enrolled there for her senior year. While there star crossed lovers work out their differences to resume their summer love, Sandy joins the Pink Ladies, the female counterpart to Danny’s gang the T-Birds. Lead by the sharp-tonged Rizzo and the haphazard beauty school dropout Frenchie, the Pink Ladies were an elite, all-girls group that drank, smoked cigarettes, and had sex, all which were new to Sandy and caused the Pink Ladies made fun of her for being too prude.

To join the Pink Ladies, you’ll need some cool 50's threads. Throw on your pink poodle skirt or put on your black capri’s for those Summer Nights. Add a black shirt underneath and tie a matching chiffon scarf around your neck or ponytail. At the race in between Kenickie and Leo you’ll be anything but a beauty school dropout when you keep cool in your 1950s sunglasses. Every Pink Lady gets a signature pink satin jacket with “The Pink Ladies” embroidered in black in the back. Make sure you and your ladies get some T-Birds to take to the Rydell High dance-off.
