About Pink Flamingos

An elegant member of the animal kingdom. A popular lawn ornament. One of John Waters' most infamous films. The Pink Flamingo brings to mind a lot of images. A striking sight, the flamingo is capable of limited flight and has very long legs. Additionally, it can be recognized by its striking plumage which varies in color from pale, bubblegum pink to a more vibrant, magenta hue. They're frequently seen standing on one leg, although scientists have never been able to understand why.
