About Peppermint

Known for it's sweet yet spicy flavoring and almost always associated with the Christmas or winter holidays, Peppermint is a hybrid sort of mint that is a cross between the watermint and spearmint. It's breath-freshening properties make it the perfect flavor for chewing gum and during the Christmas and winter holidays, red and white candy sugar sticks are flavored with peppermint oil for a delicious treat known as Candy Canes. Peppermint also flavors other confections such as cookies and ice cream. It has a high content of menthol and had been used as a remedy thousands of years ago. Peppermint is sometimes added to shampoo to stimulate follicle growth and has also been used as an aid for irritable bowel syndrome... Ho, ho, ho!

Dressing up as Peppermint
