About Palpatine

The darkest, most powerful villain and Sith Lord in the Star Wars universe, Palpatine started off as a Senator from Naboo who concealed his identity as a Sith from many (even the great Jedi Yoda) for years. After concocting an elaborate plan to execute countless Jedi under an order carried out by his army of Clones he had a part in commissioning, then-Chancellor Palpatine gained control of the Senate. He then disolved the Senate and installed himself as the galactic Emperor.

Under his Sith name, Darth Sidious, Palpatine adhered to the Sith "Rule of Two," taking on apprentices such as Darth Maul and Count Dooku. His final apprentice was Anakin Skywalker who became Darth Vader. Vader eventually killed Palpatine, crossing over to the light side of the Force yet again when the Emperor tried to kill Vader's son, Luke Skywalker.

Dressing up as Palpatine

Turn to the Dark Side of the Force dressed as perhaps the most evil Sith Lord in Jedi history, Emperor Palpatine. Officially licensed masks modeled after Palpatine's disfigured visage are crafted from latex. The mask features a built-in hood and red-and-yellow eyes sunk in a shallow, shrivelled complexion. Also available are latex Emperor Palpatine Hands covered in protruding veins and with long, ragged, grimy fingernails. These can be worn as gloves over your own hands.

To complete the look is the Deluxe Emperor Palpatine costume with a long, red robe with velvety inlays and a cloak-like red hood to pull up over your mask.
