More scuzzy than fuzzy, the green, garbage can-dwelling Oscar the Grouch provided the counterpoint to the cheerful residents of Sesame Street with his snide comments and "grouchy" mannerisms. That's not to say Oscar didn't have his moments of kindness. He exhibited a fondness for trash, as evidenced by his signature song "I Love Trash" and cares about his friends Slimey the worm and Bruno the Garbageman who carries Oscar in his trash can around Sesame Street.

Dressing up as Oscar the Grouch

Dress up as your favorite grouch, the green n' gritty Oscar the Grouch with a uniquely styled, officially licensed Sesame Street costume. The upper half of the costume features a plush green body and character hood with your face visible inside Oscar's mouth. Emblazoned on the costume is a patch featuring Oscar's segmented pal, Slimey the Worm. The bottom half of the costume is made of a poly-foam imprinted with a trashcan design and a note saying "Scram!" -- Oscar's signature phrase.

Add a pair of green gloves to give your hands character and a pair of grungy sneakers to peek out beneath your trash can.
