Nerds, not to be confused with Geeks or Dorks, enjoy the intellectual activities of the president of the math team or member of the scholastic bowl. These awkward, living targets of the popular have been portrayed throughout American culture through lovable characters such as Samuel "Screech" Powers and the unforgetable Robert Carradine as Lewis Skolnick in Revenge of the Nerds. Real life nerds can still be found today hanging around the school yard after hours asking for extra homework and comparing I.Qs.
Dressing up as a Nerd
Ugly glasses, hiked up pants, pocket protecters. What else can I say? It's not that difficult to make yourself into a nerd. Be sure that your color scheme is really uncordinated with plaid pants and a polka-dot bowtie and your on the patch to successful nerd transformation! Thick, black rimmed glasses are always key and maybe an awful nerdy wig. Suspenders add a nice touch to those who want to give off that Steve Urkel vibe. Carry around a text book and you have the recipe for one unmistakable nerd! Jocks, beware! You'll probably be working for that nerd one day!
