About Mosquitoes

The term "mosquito" is actually derrived from the Portuguese for "small fly." Mosquitoes have a habit o "biting" people to draw out blood which the insect takes back to their children to feed. The fluid secreted by the mosquito allows the flow of blood to be more free, to stop it from clotting so that the mosquito can continue to drain more blood. With its long, thin body and flight capabilities, are also known for carrying the for the deadly ailment, "Yellow Fever," also known as "Malaria." Mosquitoes are often found in warm, moist, swamplime onditions.
