The Missing Link is a character from Monsters vs. Aliens. The movie was release in April 2009 for children to enjoy. The Missing Link is a 20,000 year old fish ape hybrid. He was found frozen and then thawed by scientists. He does have extreme practice with martial arts making him an asset to the monsters in the fight.

About Monsters Vs. Aliens
Monsters vs. Aliens is a new 3D Movie created with CGI. Dreamworks Animation and Paramount Pictures was behind the creation. There are a number of high profile actors lending their voices to the film. Hugh Laurie, Reese Witherspoon, Kiefer Sutherland, and other actors are voicing the characters. The conceptis that a meteor hits a wedding during Reese Witherspoon’s wedding- or her character that is. The character is Susan Murphy. Basically what happens is that Murphy becomes a giantess, and she is labelled a monster. Other monsters such as BOB, Dr. Cockroach, and the Missing Link break out because they are unhappy with being caught. They also want to be able to return to their old life. Unfortunately aliens descend on earth, one in particular called Gallaxhar is trying to take over. To stop the evil doer the Monsters must fight protecting the humans who cast them as outsiders.
Dressing up as Monsters vs. Aliens
Since there are a number of different monsters and aliens in the film there will be several costumes to choose from. If you want to be B.O.B. you would need a blue blob costume, with one extra eye. Dr. Cockroach is a mad scientist, with a cockroach head. The missing link is a hybrid fish and ape. If you want to be Susan you would need a bit more height and size to look like a giantess.
