In the Dreamworks animated 3D movie, Monsters vs Aliens, the Missing Link is a 20,000 year old ape/fish hybrid creature whose frozen, perfectly preserved body was found by scientists. When "Link" (as he came to be known) was thawed, he instantly assumed his alpha-male, cocky jock persona. Although he's somewhat out of shape (you'd be, too, after a 20,000 year long nap!), Link makes valiant attempts to use his considerable martial arts skills to help his team lead the attack against the aliens attempting to invade Earth.

Dressing up as Missing Link

Available in children's sizes are officially licensed {Monsters vs. Aliens} costumes for the Missing Link character. Complete with a yellow, "scaly" bodysuit with attached boot covers, the costume will transform you into the half-ape, half-fish creature who is rarin' and ready to spring into action after being out of commission for several millennia. Also included is a full-coverage character mask in green with Link's goofy, smiling ape-like face to cover your own head, with green, gill-like structures on the side and top of the mask.
