About Miss Muffett

Little Miss Muffett is a character from a nursery rhyme, a dainty lass who sat on a tuffet of grass, eating her curds and whey. (What the fairy tale neglects to mention is that curds and whey is pretty close to cottage cheese, for those of you playing along at home.) Unfortunately, Miss Muffett's blissful session of eating outdoors was interrupted when a spider sat down next to her, unaware that Miss Muffet had an accute case of arachnophobia. The spider frightened Miss Muffet away, although it isn't known for sure if she took her bowl of curds and whey with her, or left it for the spider to dine on? The world may never know!

Dressing up as Miss Muffet

Available in sizes to fit little girls and adult women are a variety of Little Miss Muffet costumes based on the popular nursery rhyme character. The little girls' version of this costume comes complete with a cute pink gingham dress with puffed sleeves and an attached pinafore apron. Also included are ruffelled white pantaloons that peek out from the bottom off the ruffled dress and a matching pink gingham ruffled cap.
