About Mini Mouse

Walt Disney hit upon a majorly successful business idea when he created Walt Disney animated works, the resorts, and the theme parks. A favored character since the 1920’s is Mini Mouse, technically spelled Minnie Mouse. Minnie Mouse was created to give Mickey Mouse a partner and love interest in the cartoons. The pair have been on television since 1928. Minnie is a flapper girl who was made to follow popular fashion trends of youth culture. She is supposed to be coy with Mickey allowing him to chase her and occasionally catch her. Minnie is friends with Daisy Duck. The pair often go on shopping trips and discuss their love interests with each other. Mini Mouse is the most popular female cartoon character ever created. She is still the most popular.

Dressing up as Mini Mouse

Minnie Mouse is above all a mouse, which means she has mouse ears and a mouse body. To dress up as Minnie you have many choices. These costumes will fit both children and adults depending on the style you choose. The basic outfit will be a red flapper dress with white polk- a- dots. A black belt and mouse ears will complete the look. You will need to have knee high socks and Mary Jane style shoes. Minnie also has a bow tie that matches the dress. To be completely accurate in costume from the cartoons you will need a black bodysuit to go underneath the dress of your choice. Minnie and Mickey are both black mice. Some of the dresses have a black bodice instead of the all polk- a- dot dress. You may also consider adding the mouse nose and polka dot mouse shoes to the costume.
