About Maternity
During the time period known as maternity when a woman is pregnant, her body -- and wardrobe -- undergo some major changes to accomodate her ever-changing size and expanding waistline. Even though a woman's shoulders and basic structure remains intact, she still requires special clothing during the latter part of the nine months she's expecting. Maternity clothing AND costuming have come a LONG way since even 10 years ago. High end designers have created entire lines of maternity clothes for women so they don't have to change their style from classy, basic black and fashionable clothes to outfits that look like walking, floral doillies. Even costumes have hopped on the maternity wagon with styles to fit moms-to-be that let them keep their sense of humor and even a touch of sexiness and get dressed up!
