About Mater

Mater is a character from Cars a Disney Pixar Animation. The film was released in 2006. The story is about Lightning McQueen getting lost in a small city in the desert on his way to another race. During the stay Lightning McQueen meets Mater. Mater is an older wrecker that services the Radiator Springs town. Played by Larry the Cable Guy Mater is a bit on the southern side, with not a lot of smarts. However, he makes a good friend for the race car.
Mater has huge eyes that show confusion in the film, and a large crooked mouth with buck teeth. The truck is so derelict that it doesn’t always sit right and has a hard time moving around. Mater mostly lives in the junk yard.

Dressing up as Mater

Dressing up as Mater offers you several choices in that you can be a Mater Mechanic with overalls, wrench and ball cap. You can also be a 3-D Mater with the full bodies tow truck meant to hold on with suspenders. Other options are Lightning McQueen and Cars if you don’t want to be the tow truck or if you need more than one idea for your children. The outfits are generally sized for children, but there are a few adult choices.
