Mary Katherine was convinced she was a "Superstar!" and would frequently engage nuns, students, and other school faculty in monologues she had memorized from Lifetime movies, as well as her own renditions of songs by Whitney Houston or Broadway musicals. In her excitement, Mary Katherine would accidentally topple into something or fall over, flashing her underwear to everyone present. Her famous nervous tick was shoving her hands beneath her armpits and then sniffing them for a comfort factor. She got her own movie called "Superstar" released in theatres starring Molly Shannon, based on the SNL character.
