About Mario

Mario is a character from a Nintendo game. The first game came out in the early 80’s where you could be Mario and run around trying to battle the different enemies. It was a story board that continually moved so you had to keep up. As the games advanced other characters were added. Mario is part of a brotherly duo of plumbers. He is the more sensible and intelligent of the group character wise. There have been many games from Nintendo since the beginning. Super Mario Cart for example is one of the most popular. There was also a movie created in the 90’s based on the games. The games are always battling a head honcho like a turtle.

Dressing up as Mario

Mario costumes are fairly simple because Mario is a plumber. For the costume you need a blue pair of overalls. They should have silver buttons on the front, and plenty of pockets. The overalls may also be a little short. For under the overalls you need a red long sleeve shirt. Mickey Mouse gloves can also help with the costume because Mario always has on white gloves. Any style of work boot will add to the costume. Also a red ball cap and short bushy mustache is needed. Don’t forget Luigi.
