Magic wizards have been around for several centuries. They are considered a mythological being that has the power to transform objects or sometimes travel in time. The fairy tale of wizards vary from your latest Harry Potter to the magician on stage performing tricks. Writers bring magic wizards alive in their tales. Shakespeare was known for his wizards in Macbeth with the sisters, and Tempest. You also have such tales as Merlin who supposedly helped King Arthur. Even the Lord of the Rings had a depiction of wizards as powerful and magical beings.
Dressing up as Magic Wizard
For a costume party you have plenty of magic wizards to choose from. We have mentioned a few above such as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Hagrid. You also have Professor Dumbledore, Snape, and Voldemort. The Lord of the Rings also offers plenty of magic wizard costumes to choose from. Below we have a parade wizard which is dressed in a long flowing robe with bell sleeves and a pointed top hat. The typical magic wizard will come with a white beard, which is rather long. You also have accessories such as the magic wand, broom stick, and cauldron. Another idea for a magic wizard would be the Oz Wizard. This costume is your typical business suit with green vest rather than a magical looking costume.
