Luke Skywalker is a major character in the Star Wars saga. Luke Skywalker is the son of Padme Amidala, queen and senator of the planet Naboo and the secret wife of Anakin Skywalker, who becomes Darth Vader. Luke’s estranged twin sister is the Princess Leia, who he rescues from the Death Star. The role of Luke Skywalker had been portrayed by Mark Hamill in the original Star Wars trilogy.
