About Lobster

Prime eatin’ lobsters are one of the many seafood items people love. Lobsters from Maine are typically the most sought after, but any colder region tends to have a good lobster. This is because the cold water lobster grow larger tails, providing more of the yummy meat to eat. Lobsters are crustacean in the decapoda order. Lobsters have to front claws which vary in size depending on the type of lobster. Lobsters can be red or brown. Typically they redden as they are boiled. Lobster has two antenna on their head that they use for feelers. Then underneath they have their legs. The tail and body is covered in a hard shell called a carapace, which must be cracked open to reveal the meat inside.

Dressing up as Lobster

There are two ways you can have a lobster costume. There is a lobster hat patterned after the marine animal. The other costume is a full jump suit. Typically the feet are left uncovered to help you walk, but the tail resides behind your legs. The front of the costume will have a few legs, and your arms are the claws. Your head will also be covered with a lobster style face and eyes. Baby lobster costumes are quite popular with the bunting costume offered. The material is a plush red with a little orange.
