About Little Bo Peep

A character from a traditional nursery rhyme from around the Victorian Era, Little Bo Peep is a shepardess looking for her lost flock. The popular verse goes: Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep and doesn’t know where to find them. Just leave them alone and they’ll come home, wagging their tails behind them. Little Bo Peep was also a character, a doll figure, featured in the Toy Story movies. Since the poem was passed down through many generations the following verses have many variations. Historians believe that the poem is originally about smugglers in the Bo Peep house in Sussex, England.

Dressing up as Little Bo Peep

Tend to your flock in a pastel colored. pink or a blue ruffled frock with a lace-up corset top. Fluff out your costume in a white lace tulle petticoat worn underneath the dress. Wear a pretty striped shirt and white pantaloons underneath the outfit for the modest shepardess look. A pair of white lacy socks and white or black socks will complete the ensemble. Try on a blonde curly baby doll wig, add a bonnet or hair ribbons on your head and a staff to lead your lambs. In this Little Bo Peep outfit all the sheep will be following you around.
