About Legally Blonde

One of the films that put Oscar Winner Reese Witherspoon on the map as a bona-fide star, Legally Blonde hit theatres in 2001 and is now a smash Broadway musical hit. Telling the story of bright yet flighty California socialite Elle Woods, "Legally Blonde" is a classic "fish out of water" tale. With a degree in fashion design under her belt already, when Elle's long-time boyfriend dumps her before heading to Harvard and hopefully embarking on a political career, Elle decides to follow him to the Ivy League in an effort to repair their relationship. In an attempt to make him take her more seriously, Elle enrolls in law school and finds out a lot about herself in the process, forcing others to look beyond her sparkly, pink and blonde facade and see the brain within!
