About Lazy Town

Lazy Town is an Icelandic television show for children. It first appeared in the US in 2004. It currently airs in over 100 different countries. Icelandic, U.K., and U.S. characters were created for the show. There have been 52 episodes created, as well as a spin off show for stage productions. The idea behind the show is based on Stephanie who arrives in town meeting new friends. She urges these new friends to go outside, be active, and basically forget about the video games in favor of exercise outdoors. Her uncle is the Mayor of the town and enlists the help of Sportacus 10 who is a hero to inspire children to play outside. Robbie Rotten is the antagonist since he doesn’t like exercise.

Dressing up as Lazy Town

Stephanie from Lazy Town is a very popular costume for children. The costumes come with a variety of pieces to ensure you have the right look. The costume is a pink wig with a purple head band, to match the pink and purple stripped sleeveless dress. Costumes do come with white and purple shoes. You will want to add white leggings and purple socks to complete the look. Stephanie is not alone so another costume from LazyTown would be Sportacus. For Sportacus, which is a play on Spartacus you will need a blue work out suit, with arm warmers, a hat with goggles and workout shoes.
