About Lady Luck

Lady Luck is the personification of good fortune often called upon by gamblers and other high rollers to put them in the path of a winning streak. A popular subject of retro-styled tattoos, Lady Luck is often pictured as a beautiful woman surrounded by aces of all suits, poker chips, and dice. The original "Lady Luck" may have been the Roman goddess, Fortuna, from where we get the word for "fortune" or good luck. Fortuna was the goddess of both fate or fortune.
