About Klingon
Characterized by their ridged foreheads and coarse hair, the Klingons were a warlike race found in the United Federation of Planets in the Star Trek universe. They speak in a gutteral sort of language and while they were first seen as an enemy of the Federation, the Klingons became valued allies. The Klingon Worf even served as a high-ranking officer on the Enterprise, and was highly trusted by Captain Picard. One of the great mysteries of the Star Trek universe is how the Klingons came to have their distinct look. In the original series, the Klingons were merely swarthy humans. In later series, they were shown in the state that they are now with ridged foreheads. It was briefly alluded that there was some calamity on their planet that caused these changes in physiology.
Dressing up as a Klingon
Gear yourself up for battle as a Klingon warrior with officially licensed Star Trek costumes and products. Wear a caricature-styled Worf mask with oversized eyebrows and thick rooted hair. Another, more realistic latex Klingon mask is also available with rooted hair held back in a long braid from its ridged cranium and decorated with rooted facial hair, as well.
