About the Jolly Green Giant

The world's largest pitchman, the Jolly Green Giant shills veggies for the Green Giant brand of canned and frozen goods. He's a rather jovial fellow, often seen bellowing a good-natured "Ho, ho, ho!" and frequently accompanied by his much smaller nephew, "Sprout," and dressed in a tunic made from leaves which complimented his lovely green complexion. The Jolly Green Giant was created by advertising giant, Leo Burnett in 1928 and is still going strong today, presiding over "The Valley" in which he lives and grows tasty veggies for all! Blue Earth, MN actually has a "life sized" statue of the Green Giant that stands 55 feet tall.

Officially licensed by General Mills, the Jolly Green Giant costume comes complete with a green bodysuit that fits most men along with a leafy, one-shouldered tunic and matching curly-toed boots.
