About Jigsaw

Jigsaw can refer to two things. First a jigsaw is another word for puzzle; however it is the second meaning to which we refer here. Jigsaw is a character from the 2004 film Saw and the subsequent five other movies made since then. The Jigsaw Killer is fictional and was played by actor Tobin Bell in the films. Jigsaw’s real name is Jonathan Kramer, a character dying from a frontal lobe tumor as a result of colon cancer. Angry and deranged, Jigsaw created a series of tests for his subjects. These tests are meant to be symbolic of flaws in a person’s life. The tests will jump start the survival instinct of those captured into doing horrific and grotesque things. Kramer was supposedly killed in Saw V, but his vengeful ways live on in Saw VI, being released on October 23, 2009.

Dressing up as Jigsaw

With the Saw character you have a couple of outfits to choose from. You can use your regular appearance by aging your skin with makeup. For this costume you would need a cloak and black pants and shirt. It is a fairly typical costume for evil. However, if you want the true Jigsaw look you are better off with the black pants, dinner jacket with dress shirt and red tie. To complete the look you need the Jigsaw Mask which is a white mask with red target circles on the cheeks. The lips of the mask are painted red, and the lower jaw is defined. The mask is finished with dark long hair providing you with the look of a grotesque clown, bent on killing!
