About JFK
Affectionately referred to by his initials, JFK, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was both the youngest President of the United States and the first Roman Catholic elected to the highest office in the land. He served in office from 1961 to 1963. In the short two years of his presidency, Kennedy's administration was rampant with so conflicts and civil unrest, presiding over the Vietnam War, the civil rights movement, the start of the Cold War, and the Cuban Missile Crisis. While he is still viewed as one of the most progressive and greatest presidents in United States history, JFK's term in office was cut short when he was sadly assassinated in Texas on November 22nd, 1963.
Dressing up as JFK
Great for a costume party, Presidential or political party (Bad pun alert!), or a historical play or pageant, dress up as the 35th President of the United States with a JFK mask. Made of vinyl and done in a caricature-esque style, the John F. Kennedy mask depicts the smiling, charismatic face of the youngest U.S. President. Pair it up with a blue or black suit with a red tie.
For a great couple's costume, dress up as as JFK's wife, Jackie O with a pink First Lady costume complete with pillbox hat. Add a Jackie O wig in black with flipped-out ends to complete this classic -- and classy look!
