About The Jetsons

The Jetsons blasted into ABC's prime-time lineup in 1962 and was set 100 years into the future in 2062. The original series only ran for a year but was later successfully revived in the 1980s. The futuristic family was created and animated by legendary team Hanna-Barbera, and were considered a space-age version of the Stone Age Flintstones, the team's greatest creation. The family included the hard-working George Jetson, his trend-setting wife Jane, teenage (and boy-crazy) daughter Judy, and his genius son Elroy. The family also has a robotic maid, Rosie and a talking dog named Astro, who is also George's best friend.
