About Jango Fett

The "father" of bounty hunter Boba Fett, Jango Fett's DNA was used as the blueprint for what would become the Army of the Republic and later, the Imperial Storm Troopers. Like father like son, Jango Fett was also a bounty hunter whose services for hire included allowing himself to be cloned. A surprisingly honorable villain in the Star Wars universe in the new trilogy, Fett's additional payment for his services included having a clone made for himself allowed to grow at a normal, human pace, and whom he could raise himself. That boy ended up becoming Boba Fett who followed in his father's footsteps when Jango Fett was beheaded by Mace Windu.
