In Tim Burton's classic stop motion animated film, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Jack Skellington is the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown. Wanting to do something nice for a resident of a neighboring holiday-themed town, Jack and his creepy cohorts attempt to put on Christmas, giving Santa Claus a break. The plan goes hideously awry with some less than scrupulous Halloweentown residents kidnapping "Sandy Claws" and turning the most joyous of holidays on it's ear. It's up to Jack to save Christmas and put things right!
