About Ironman

Ironman was a marvel comic created in the 50’s; however it has just been released as a film from Hollywood. Hollywood has been offering us many comics in the last few years, so it is no surprise that they have gotten around to one of the more popular marvel comics. In the film Tony Stark a billionaire and engineer has been taken hostage in Afghanistan. Tony Stark is then commissioned to build a missile for the terrorists. Instead he builds an armored suit that he can use to escape as well as become a superhero. This new superhero becomes of the suits capabilities and properties of iron is of course Ironman. Ironman is able to fly, destroy weapons, and keep from being harmed. Rather than being born with super powers Ironman must rely on his suit to keep him alive and the world safe.

Dressing up as Ironman

Ironman is a full bodied suit. From the head to feet there are special powers lurking in the Hollywood production of the comic. If you are a marvel comic fan or just love the movie this Halloween you have the choice in dressing in your own costume. While you won’t have super powers you will have the ironman suit with the muscle and fake bronze helmet. To dress as Ironman you will need bronze or gold looking material with a red leotard style over the upper body. The boots and gloves are also red. In another style you have a more bronze color with a darker red that is all one suit offering a more masculine look to the costume. To save a little money for those on a budget you can choose the Ironman helmet and gloves creating your own costume and boots at home. The costumes come in a variety of sizes from child to adult.
