About Horton Hears a Who
A children's book written in 1954 by author Dr. Seuss, Horton Hears a Who is the sequel to Horton Hatches the Egg. The story's main character, Horton is a happy-go-lucky elephant who cares about and for everyone. Helping to hatch an elephant bird egg and trying to make his friends aware of the Whos that exist in Whoville, Horton is always positive and kind-hearted. Made first into an animated television special, "Horton Hears a Who" is now a major motion picture with the character of Horton voiced by Jim Carey.
Dressing up as Horton Hears A Who
Little kids and babies can dress up as their (and Dr. Seuss'!) favorite friendly elephant, Horton. Available in a variety of sizes, each Horton costume comes with a one-piece bodysuit in soft blue that zips up the back and includes attached feet. Also included is a headpiece with floppy elephant ears. If you're just a Seuss fan, you can dress up with Horton ears attached on a headband or a Horton flower headband with an attached flower, much like the one that Horton hears the Whos calling from.
