About High School Musical
An award-wining Disney Channel made-for-tv movie series, High School Musical follows a group of friends through the course of the big game, summer jobs, senior year, and of course, the school musical tryouts. Released in January 2006 and set to a best selling soundtrack, the first movie followed Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez whose tryout for the musical changes their school and their lives. A follow up movie, High School Musical 2, taking place the next summer was released in 2007 and a third, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, will be released in the summer of 2008.
