About Hellsing

Hellsing is a Manga and Anime series by Kouta Hirano. The show was first broadcast on October 10, 2001, with a total of 13 episodes. It ran in the United States on Starz Action. Hellsing or Alucard is the main hero of the story. He is a powerful warrior working for the Hellsing organization. He is a vampire and one of the eldest vampires. His life dates back to the 1400’s. It is implied during the show that he is Dracula, but he is never called that. In episode 13 it is insinuated even more when a picture of Vlad the Impaler is put on the screen next to Alucard’s face. Seras Victoria is a member of the D11 special forces, who becomes mortally wounded by Hellsing when he destroys a vampire acting as a priest. To save her he turned her and she began serving under Hellsing.

Dressing up as Hellsing

There are two ways to go with the Hellsing costume. You can appear more like Dracula than the vampire anime figure. If you want to be more like Dracula you would need a cape, dark suite, and fake vampire teeth. The anime version of Hellsing had the man dressed in a black knit suit. You would need a completely black suit with a red tie. See cosplay for further ideas. Over the black suit you would want a red duster with hat to match.
