About Hell

"Hellraiser" is a series of films based on author Clive Barker's "Books of Blood." The main antagonist of this series is a demonic Cenobite, Pinhead, who is called forth by the Lament Configuration puzzle box. Known for their gruesome nature, the Cenobytes often enjoy flaying their victims alive (making for some primo gore in the "Hellraiser" films. Pinhead isn't quite your average horror baddie, either. He speaks rather eloquently and has a dry sense of humor towards his victims. Not an unreasonable monster, in the first two films, the Cenobite leader still retains parts of his human soul and is something of an anti-hero. Pinhead is portraye in all Hellraiser films by actor Doug Bradley.

Dressing up as Pinhead

Deluxe and Economy versions of Pinhead's terrifying style are available as officially licensed Hellraiser products in adult and children's sizes. Put on a latex Pinhead mask studded all over with pins with his mouth frozen in a pain-loving grimace. The Deluxe Pinhead costume has a longer duster in PVC fabric that flares out in the back for a regal, trainlike effect and with greater detailing on the bodice and sleeves.

Round out some of Pinhead's pals with some other Cenobite masks featuring the tortured visages of Chatterer whose gigantic teeth continually move inside his scarred head, and the portly Butterball, the chubbiest of the Cenobite demons.
