About Harry

Harry is the “boy who lived.” In the first book we find out that Harry is a wizard living with his Uncle and Aunt. They are horrible to Harry because he is a wizard. He gets hand me down clothing from his cousin and is always overlooked. Harry has a scar on his forehead where Voldemort tried to kill him as a baby. When he reaches the age of 12 Harry is visited by Hagrid and taken to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Since the first book in 1997, Harry has been a huge success with 7 books and 8 movies soon to be released. His friends are Ron Weasley and Hermoine Granger. Others include Ginny Granger, Choo, Ron’s brothers, Professor Dumbledore, and Neville Longbottom.

Dressing up as Harry

Harry does have a few costume to choose from, but the best costume is his wizard robes. He is seen more in these than any other costume. The costume will have oversized dress pants, shirt, and sweater vest. Over this outfit, complete with red and yellow tie, is the Hogwarts Robe. In some instances a wizard hat can be added to the costume as well as a wand. The shoes are dress shoes. You can even have your own sorting hat, broom, and other accessories. Other costume ideas include Professor Snape, Draco Malfoy, Hagrid, and Sirius Black.
