About Harry Potter

Harry Potter - AKA - "The Boy Who Lived" is the literary creation of author J.K. Rowling whose seven book series on the young wizard re-ignited a love and spark for literature among a generation of readers. After Potter's parents were killed and he survived an attack by the most feared wizard of all time, Voldemort, Harry was left with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. He was raised by his very un-loving muggle aunt and uncle until a letter came from the esteemed Albus Dumbledore informing him of his acceptance to Hogwart School of magic and wizardry. Formerly an outcast, Potter fit in at Hogwarts where he and his best friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasely... And fought back the re-surging forces of Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
