About Han Solo

Han Solo is a character from Star Wars. In the first three movies Han Solo was played by Harrison Ford. Of course the first three movies were actually the last in the six movie series that was created by George Lucas. In the first movie we meet Han Solo because he has a ship that can help Luke Skywalker. During the movies Han becomes more than just a space smuggler. In fact he becomes part of the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire to fight on the side of good. In the second movie we see Han Solo again trying to fight against Darth Vader alongside Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. In the Empire Strikes Back Han is frozen in Carbonite and has to be rescued. Han Solo appeared in many of the Star Wars novels as well. At the end of the story Han Solo is the love interest of Princess Leia.

Dressing up as Han Solo

Han Solo dresses like a smuggler. The costume will be tight black pants, with a white long sleeve shirt. The shirt has front buttons and a collar. To go over the shirt is a sleeveless black vest. To complete the costume you will need a utility belt full of weapons of the space age. Other costume ideas can be found at Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and Storm Troopers. You may also consider Obi- Wan Kenobi and Chewbacca.
