About Gundam Seed

Gundam is perhaps the one of the oldest Japanese Anime as it was first created in 1979. Gundam Seed is a part of the Gundam Franchise. Other spin offs have been created like Gundam Wing. Gundam Seed originally ran from 2002 to 2003 with 50 anime episodes. The series is set in the Cosmic Era which begins on the day of the Bloody Valentine War between Earth and the Colonies. It is a similar battle to that of the Original Gundam the One Year War. There are five Gundam suits that were used to fight the battle. The Earth Alliance was on one side with Zaft or Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty on the other. There is a division over human genetic engineering and Coordinators. Kira Yamato is a pilot of one of the gundam suits along with Athrun Zala. They are fighting to bring peace, but there are evil forces at work trying to stop them and the other gundams.

Dressing up as Gundam Seed

From Gundam Seed there are a number of characters you can dress up as. You have Kira or Lyzak, along with Princess Lacus. All of the costumes are cosplay. To dress as Kira you would need a white with blue jacket in a military style typical of anime. You would also need white slacks which can be made from a knit material. Lyzak has a white and black jacket. There is also the princess who has a white dress with short sleeves, and purple ruffles. The costumes are made for both children and adults, though adults are more typically into the anime.
