About Grease

Featuring such widely known songs as "You're the One That I Want," "Beauty School Drop Out," and "Hopelessly Devoted to You," Grease started out on Broadway before branching out into a wildly popular film of the same name. A nostalgic look back at the much more innocent era of the late 1950s buoyed by teen culture and car culture, Grease focuses on the lives and loves of the kids of Rydell High. The musical's main plot revolves around the "Summer Love" between good-girl Sandy and bad boy teen dream Danny Zuko, leader of the Burger Palace Boys or T-Birds. With a number of memorable supporting characters like the sarcastic bad girl leader of the Pink Ladies, Rizzo and her beau Kenickie, or the loveable "Beauty School Drop Out" Frenchie, Grease is definitely still "the word" for cool!
