About Gonzo

Also known as Gonzo the Great, Gonzo is a furry blue Muppet with feathers on his head and a hooked nose that no one knows quite what he is and where he comes from. It was later revealed in the movie "Muppets in Space" that Gonzo may be an alien. In spite of not knowing his origins and occassional being called a "Blue Weirdo", Gonzo is a cheerful, happy-go-lucky Muppet who loves and lives to perform. His performance art tends towards firing himself out of a cannon in his Gonzo the Great persona. His best friend and paramour is a chicken named Camilla whom he dearly loves.

Dressing up as Gonzo

Be brave! Be gallant! Be Gonzo! Dress as the Muppets' zany blue weirdo with officially licensed masks and costumes based on the beloved character. The deluxe latex Gonzo mask features an oversized, over-the-head version of Gonzo's face with a long, hooked, protruding blue nose and Gonzo's wide, bug eyes at the top of the mask with detailed "fur" details carved into the latex. The mask has two small eyeholes for the wearer to see out of in the side of Gonzo's face.
