About Gomez Addams

Gomez Addams, the eccentrically down-to-earth patriarch of the Addams Family with a penchant for yoga, fencing, and blowing up model trains. One of the main characters in the comic strip created by Charles Addams, Gomez was husband to his "cara mia" Morticia and the creepy, kooky father to Wednesday and Pugsley. Gomez was played by actor John Astin (father of Sean Astin) who was actually an avid practitioner of yoga, bringing that aspect to full life within the character on the 1964-66 series, "The Addams Family."
