A ghost is the apparition of a deceased individual according to the definition in the dictionary. A ghost will appear in a certain way to live individuals. A ghost can be a spirit or soul that manifests itself or a demon spirit. There are hundreds of Hollywood ghosts depicted in films. The thought about ghosts existing is one of belief and marred in fiction. Ghosts are not actually real creatures to most. All though some contend that their dead spouse or friend visits them. Further style there are shows like Ghost Hunter that will have you truly believing they are looking for real actual ghosts. The debate and answer is up to you. For costumes dealing in ghosts you have plenty to choose from. Hamlet had ghosts as well as Scream the movie.
Dressing up as Ghost
To dress up as a ghost you have to determine who you want to be. You can be a mainstream ghost that is fashioned more from a bed sheet like in the old Abbot and Costello routines or you can be a character from any number of movies. Ghost Rider, Scream, and the Ghostly Lady are all choices you have. In history the White Lady was considered a ghostly figure that would appear only to men to lure them to their deaths. The Garden of Evil ghost is another choice that you have. Some of the ghosts will be dressed in black with skeletal faces where as others are dressed solely in white costumes. The budget you have for your costume will in part decide the type of costume. There are infant to adult sizes in ghost costumes to be found.
