About Gecko

A Gecko is a small lizard found in warmer climates around the world. Geckos tend to make chirping noises when interacting with other lizards. At the moment there are 2,000 recorded species of Geckos. Geckos tend to dispense a foul smelling odor when threatened. They can also change their skin to blend in with their surroundings. Geckos have special little toes which enable them to climb just about any surface. You may find them on ceilings, walls, and other structures if you live or visit a warm climate. The largest Gecko is the Delcourt Gecko, which can be seen in a Marseille France museum. It is thought that this specie is from New Zealand, but they are no longer found in that region.

Dressing up as Gecko

Dressing as a Gecko will require the right type of costume. The costume will resemble that of a lizard. It will usually be green with a white or pale green for the stomach. Typically the Gecko costumes come with the feet and hands, along with a full head. The head has eyes to the side and a slightly open mouth. The costume is complete with a tail. Gecko costumes may be found in adult and children’s sizes. They are also quite affordable for a the variety of budgets.
