About Fries

Fries, also known as French Fries, are strips of deep fried potatoes. They can be cut regular, extra thin (shoestring fries), crinkle cut, or thick (steak fries) before they're dipped in hot oil to cook. Usually, these delicious deep fried potatoes are sprinkled with salt and are dipped in ketchup. Sometimes, fries are served with a variety of other toppings including melted cheese, vinegar sprinkled over the top, or smothered in brown beef gravy (the gravy fries combo more common in the Southern portion of the United States, but is delicious!). While they can be served as an entree on their own, fries most commonly accompany a burger as a side dish.

Push your favorite French Fries dressed up as either the Burger King or Ronald McDonald -- both known for their delicious, deep-fried delicacies served up fast, fresh and hot. If you don't want to shill the sliced spuds, you can dress up as the giant, floating box of fries super hero, Frylock, the voice of reason on the popular Cartoon Network show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Put on a beret with your carton of fries to give an international French twist on your all-American ensemble!
