About Friday the 13th
Very few calendar dates strike fear into the hearts of people like Friday the 13th. Known as "triskadekaphobia," the fear of the number 13 is only exacerbated when it's paired with a Friday. Hence the title of the series of films, "Friday the 13th" featuring the Camp Crystal Lake slasher, Jason Voorhees. With a countless number of sequels in the franchise, Friday the 13th is the latest horror film to get the remake treatment with a new one on the way in 2009.
Dressing up a Friday the 13th
Grab a large toy machete and a hockey mask and get ready to party like it's Friday the 13th! If a hockey mask isn't your speed, get a Jason Voorhees mask of quality vinyl and latex, made to look like Jason's misshapen head with strands of hair and an pre-attached hockey mask. Also available are latex hands that look like Jason's sausage-like fingers, bruised from hacking at his victims with his knife.
